Last week I spoke about the "Big Six" of kettle bell training for health and wellbeing.
I listed five, not six!
Which one was missing?
The all important CLEAN.
In essence the clean is a swing (ballistic) movement with a vertical lift to the rack position. As an exercise it is often overlooked when it comes to developing strength.
Just like the swing it is a movement that still relies on a powerful backswing to get the bell up to the rack which then becomes a "transition point" to other ballistic and grind exercises.
Check out various topic on Forest Vance's video above for little "tricks" to get the movement right.
I am looking forward to filming my own clips to present on topics but my filming knowledge isn't up to scratch just yet.
