I know I am biased but with body weight (calisthenics) and kettlebells what more do you need for functional strength plus mobility.
We are meant to move in a way that increases our day to day functionality. Pullups, pushups and squats in particular are "old school" ways of training that have been somehow lost in the modern methods.
Kettlebells have been around for more than 300 years so the Russians know a thing or two about training! They have combined both methods to achieve incredible strength.
